My front page of my music magazine:

 

 

 

 

I used the colour scheme of three colours, red, white and black.

I have a main image thats taken from a full shot of four rap artists. I also have cover lines around the magazine supported with few smaller images. I decided to use a white background becuase it goes with my colour theme and because my magazine is so crowed with words and images, so that it doesn't make my product eye-tiring I used plain background which is white.

Comparing my Front Page (Before and After)

Feedback from A2 students

Front page:

•  I should make my tagline font and colour same as my other font and colour used.
• Nice colour theme, suitable for traget audience.
• Good use of imagery
• Font really nice and clear.

Content page:

• Add a design on the second page, looks plain - something missing
• Nice clear font and page numbers
• Good colour scheme

DPS:

• Really loved it. - the brick background theme.

1) Add notes to your posts to explain your journey: what are your inspirations behind the appearance of your magazine?
2) Check the SPaG of your image editing post.
3) Check there is nothing missing - check the booklet (e.g. magazine ownership).

I made a double page content page because I believe that it looks much better then on page and especially if you have a lot of contents to put in. I researched that few magazines have double page contents.
